Java Jive, a beautiful breakfast restaurant in the heart of Atlanta that's been near to my heart for years, has announced they will be closing their doors at the end of December.
My wife and I used to live a couple of blocks down from Java Jive and would eat their frequently. We actually had breakfast there on the day after our wedding, right before leaving for our honeymoon!
It's sad when things come to an end. I can only hope that they are not closing their doors due to being priced out of the neighborhood, like other shops in the area have recently. I also hope that something else small and local takes its place. The world has enough huge things; make sure you take some time to appreciate the small things in your life, like good breakfast food.
