Daily thoughts
When I get time off lately, and then return to work the time off is done, I'm struck by how much better things seemed while I didn't have to work! I hit my daily step goals most days that I'm not working. But I also feel more at peace/rested. I don't sit nearly as much (unless I'm driving a lot). I'm usually taking at least a bit of time to work on my hobbies. Life is a lot better.
What would life look like if we didn't try so hard to make everything so complicated? Some things are inherently complicated, of course. There's nothing to be done about that. But many other parts of our modern life are complicated merely because we want them to be. I wonder how much space there would be in our lives to just exist if we simplified.
